Dress Up and Stay In— Dust off those Glad Rags

Well we can’t go out and there certainly isn’t going to be any Xmas parties this year!
Last night I decided to dress up like I was going out and really enjoyed the ritual of picking an outfit, doing my makeup etc, & having a disco for one, it really lifted my mood.
So on this gloomy Tuesday I thought I would try and spread the fun.
So for those of you ladies & gents who fancy it: dust off your best going out outfit, stick some tunes on, get dressed up & post a picture of you in your finery.
I appreciate many are working so plan your outfit for later and post later or if you are at home and feeling gloomy get dressed up & do your conference calls in your cocktail dress or tux (or not)
Let us know if you’re in so we can look out for your pictures..

This is exactly what I am doing today, my fab friends know that I'm a dress up and go out gal but apart from food shopping it's not happening.
So ... I will be having a big bubbly bath, get my shovel out and stick my make up on, then my new dress is going to be slipped on and a few pictures.
I'm not everyone's cup of tea but I'm going to enjoy a bit of me time.
I love everyone of you on here and hope you ALL have a great day xx |

My hubby and I actually had a kitchen dance date night on Saturday night (desperate times eh?). To make it that little bit more authentic, we purchased a cheap disco light from Amazon (if you closed your eyes, it almost felt like a club!)
We both got dressed up, and though the evening felt a little odd at first, the odd tipple lowered any inhibitions.
It definitely lifted our mood. |

I've done this every weekend since Jeff got back from Turkey in July.
Every weekend I get all glammed up and we make the most of our time.
It's been awesome.
Won't be stopping post rona

V jealous that you have someone to dress up with, dinner for one doesn’t quite replicate the going out date night vibe
However I think post rona I’m going to carry on making more of an effort whilst in! |

Run a bath, go through the whole ritual of getting ready for a night out but in! Relaxing & fun. I look forward to seeing your picture!

O GOSH!! A compliment like that from you means more to me than you could possibly realise, for that I thank you.
I was going to send a pretty pic of me in new dress that wearing today (and hair with lippy) but for reasons and settings that I fully respect I was unable to.
