Do you like labels?

Labels on products, groceries and shopping in general work well but labels on people are often incorrect and group individuals who are vastly different together. Given a choice I would rather not have labels for people. |

Don't get me wrong I don't hate them or anything but so many people try and fit people an a box and label them and often I really don't get it! Maybe its just me lol  |

Ok you have to have make female and possibly bi or straight but you get young, old which ave no clear boundaries and I suppose you could say bi and straight are not clear cut never mind the labels bbw, vwe, vvwe etc. |

No you have a valid point I suppose we need some labels but we do seem to have an awful lot for people to group them together. |

I love this dialogue from Misfits:
Kelly: "Are you trying to tell me you're gay, or something?"
Nathan: "Gay, straight, retarded. Why do we have to put labels on everything?"
Kelly: "Cos, we do. All right! Or-else no one's going to know what the fuck's going on."
It kind of sums up the whole 'label' debate for me although I still can't figure out if I like them or not  |
