Just laying in a bubble bath on a miserable Sunday evening listening to Biggie. He was such a dude.
Tupac too.
Man they don’t make them like this anymore.
Anyone else a fan? |

"Tupac’s music is definitely overrated because of his influence outside of music,
Jay-z, Nas, NWA all killed it tho they’re the GOATS"
I get funny looks driving through the countryside with NWA or Public Enemy blaring out the car windows.
Doesn't really fit in where we live.

H went with her sister to see Eminem & 50Cent was supposed to support & he baled.

"One of my favourite hip tunes that get people on the dance floor, is rappers delight. Who doesn't love it."
A classic.
Still waiting for the argument to be settled as to whether that should be considered the first ever rap song or if that title goes to the Fatback Band?

"Sky Arts had a brilliant programme on the early days of hip hop in the 70's that unfortunately comprehensively buries Rappers Delight. "
Agreed, there were other hip hop bands out therw way before rappers delight. Plus Hank stealing other rappers lyrics did not go down well in the hip hop community. |

Missy Elliot doesn't belong in that list
Let's hear it for the old school British groups such as Hijack, Demon Boyz, Ruthless Rap Assasins, London Posse, Overlord X, Cookie Crew and Derek B . |
