It has been suggested I stay off fab until COVID is over because on my status I indicated that I’m not meeting until I have had my jab. Has the world gone mad?? |

The amount of requests I get asking to meet is insane.
Back in March we had a fighting spirit, helped neighbours, set up online help groups.
Now there's more and more people who don't give a fuck.
Covid fatigue is in full effect now.  |

If it’s just randomers suggesting you stay off fab, I would suggest that you politely suggest that they fuck off and mind their own business. Just a suggestion.
If the suggestion was made by a health professional, trusted friend or loved one then maybe consider their opinion and then either take their advice or politely tell the to fuck off and mind their own business.

Covid isnt going anywhere in 2021 so all these idiots on here waiting for a miracle vaccine and "saving lives" will still be sat on their arse on here this time next year.

It will help save my Mum's life who has chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and my Dad's life who had a stroke this year and one of his heart valves only operates at 20% effectiveness, my life as I'm type1 diabetic with a damaged immune system |

Our block list has grown considerably larger during the last few months. Is there a limit on how many folks we can block as I can see it getting so big that half of Fab will be on it soon  |

Unfortunately, "what's right for themselves" isn't often good for everyone else. We know how the virus spreads and people shagging around spreads it. It might be great for them to get a leg over but it might well kill others they come in contact with.
I prefer to take the "what's best for everyone" approach. I'd rather be a "jobsworth" and stick my nose in if it protects people. |
