So I’ve had a few conversations about this with a few different people and wanted to ask what most people thought of this as it relates to couples or those in committed relationships. Seems some can separate mind and soul attraction with mind and body attraction. Thoughts? |

"I'm not sure I understand what sex a la carte is. I did a search but it still wasn't clear. Can you clarify?"
Thank god I'm not alone - I read this earlier and didn't have a clue what it was on about, either |

The idea behind the term is really the ability to have sex and not need the attachment to the person so the focus of the question really is this, in the swing lifestyle do you need the attachment or do you prefer sexy to just be sex |

Connection and attachment are two different things and shouldnt be confused.
Do we need a connection with someone to have sex with them? Mostly yes. And we are now great friends with most we swing with.
Do we need an attachment to them? No. That would be a relationship.
Which is something different entirely.

Not so much attachment vs lust but operate where they have essentially multiple people who exist for multiple reasons simultaneously if that makes sense. The idea of mind and soul for one and mind and body for another |
