Oooh love crumpets - left to cool for a minue and then smothered in butter so it stays hard and doesn't 'sink in'. Sometimes have a little cheese on top too. Yummy |

Nice with cheese and also spread with marmite and cheese.
And great with peanut butter.
another way is to whisk ya eggs up and dunk your crumpet in , leave to soak a little then fry off.
great with bacon and toms |

crumpets mmmmmmmmmmmmmm i love crumpets
toasted and covered in butter sometimes with melted cheese
depending on where you come from they are called differant things us brummies call them picklets well thats what my nan called them |

All the places I've been to, and thats the first time I've heard anyone else call them Pikelets. I was beginning to think it was just a local term lol |

as far as i know brummies called crumpets picklets
