Urgent help with Facebook please

My facebooks bern hacked, I get a message saying there’s been unusual activity on my account & loads of spam messages sent to people with a virus in.

It’s asking me to set up a new password which I’ve done, & it opens the page & wants me to set up a new password again.

I’m going round in circles can anyone help please.

Are you sure the message asking you to change your password was genuinely from facebook?

I did this in 2017 when it became meme central.

Never been back on it since and don't miss it one bit lol
