Was just thinking what it would be like in society, if swinging was taught as a way of life in school and was considered mainstream?
Where Monogamist monotheism being a rural backwater.
Any thoughts? |

Monogamist monotheism? At what age is that taught in schools?

A huge number of schools are Church of England and others are also Christian themed. Then there are plenty of other faith based schools, the vast majority of which currently are understandably monotheistic and focus on monogamy. They start at about 5.
I have nothing against this. It's just a thought experiment... |

"Swinging isn't a way of life. It is a lifestyle choice."
Can you explain in more detail?
I can agree that swinging isnt a way of life for most people.
In a different society it could be. In some societies there is something much more similar to swinging as a social norm, at which point it probably isnt a lifestyle choice but a way of life. |

No need for me to expand. What you are suggesting is for it to become the norm, I am saying what is is now |

So you have brought them up and taught and 'brainwashed' them. That's fine.

I am more thinking of a society where swinging is the norm. I suppose varieties of polygyny and polyandry are much more common.
Maybe all nightclubs would have a swinging section.
Maybe there wouldnt be reasons for sex being considered illegal in public.
What other things would be different? |

Do you not agree we are all taught and learn things?
That is nothing to do with your attack on some one else's views in raising children."
There is no attack. My interpretation of 'brainwashing' was wider than the context used above. I wasnt trying to suggest there is anything wrong with someone's children or their upbringing. |

There should be no preaching of any one rhetoric like sexuality or religion.
Children should be given incoragment in freedom of expression, choice and exceptance in all aspects of life.
With those in place surely society as a whole would be a more tolerant place and hold no prejudice, then grow up into who they are and not fitting predetermined pigeon holes.

Do you get approached in public? In the library, on the bus, in the supermarket?
I should imagine if swinging was commonplace that it would be more common to be approached by people in everyday life.
The postman would be very busy and there would be a milkman in every neighbourhood |
