Yes I agree.
This principle also applies to Fast n Furious.
It just got daft and repetitive after No3 |

To be honest most sequels that stretch beyond a second or third one tend to end up milking the same cow - Jaws, Police Academy, Terminator, Rambo to name a few.
Struggling to think of any apart from Aliens and possibly Rocky that managed it (and even Rocky arguably went downhill after the third one) |

I think the exception to this would also be Saw.

Never seen more than about 30 minutes of the first one, hated it and switched it off |
