Inclusion vs exclusion...

We’re all here for different reasons, and are enjoying trying new things or sticking to things we already know.

I do wonder though why have a race filter but be denied height filters or body shape filters for example. I see some of the same filter suggestions in the fab site improvement section.

The filters on here are decent so far, imho, along with properly structured profiles it makes it super easy to find people you want to interact with or not as the case maybe.

Would ppl use the filters if they were more detailed or feel its too exclusive and not give ppl a fair chance to be noticed.

What say you good people of fab town?!

.

I doubt fab will ever introduce height, body, boob or cock filters as it would exclude a huge amount of people (fab subscribers)

As it is most people stand a chance of their profile being notice but if you say only show me or except messages from 6ft athletic men with huge cocks or slim petite big boobed Women then a lot of people might end up leaving after a while

Filters only work if people are being accurate with their own descriptions.

Gender and ethnicity are harder to fib about than age, height, weight, body style, knob/tit size etc even with photos.

There's never been too much point in assuming a photo is a true likeness or that the descriptions given are 100% accurate. The more filters that are added, the more will be fudged.

I would be in favour of adding more descriptions, Unless it's a totally fake profile the more detailed the person is describing themselves the harder it will be to lie about themselves.

Having seen literally thousands of photos on here over the last decade and the accompanying descriptions.....I disagree.

Especially with guys and their cock size claims.

And age. And height. Oh fuck it....there are very few 100% honest, accurate profiles now so I doubt adding more info will change that. And some things are of course subjective. Body type for example.

If fab took away all the personal details and profiles just had pictures and accompanying text I honestly believe there'd be a lot less complaints about people struggling to find what they're looking for.

No more moans about being a year outside someones age filter. No more accusations of fibbing about body type. Couples profiles with just photos of the couple and the same for singles.

In the real world people make initial decisions on attraction based on visuals, followed by conversation (if it gets that far) - why make it more difficult online by giving folks the opportunity to make them appear more appealing by fudging a few numbers.

The more you add categories and filters the more people will complain they're being excluded or written off. Which, let's be honest, happens here enough as it is.

I am finding how the TV/TS filter is managed by Fab a bit strong in the way it advises.

So there are people who look at my profile, or even wink. When I go to message them, a Fab message virtually shouts at me...

"PROFILE X IS NOT LOOKING FOR TV/TS! YOU WILL BE BETTER TO CONTACT PEOPLE WHO ARE INTERESTED IN TV/TS!"

I can understand if it's a couple and maybe despite agreement to filter-out, one half may be secretly interested in a TV/TS. But there are solo guys who actively filter out TV/TS and yet look and even wink at my profile...

Huh? Go figure?

It's because they've not ticked TV/TS in their "looking for" selection.

I get the same message when I contact my straight mates on here.

Yeah, a lot of women and couples do the same thing when it comes to single males. Because they don't want the influx of messages off blokes claiming to be the perfect match for them or "meet now and suck my dick", they don't have single males on their "looking for" but will look for themselves.

The other case in point could be that the person who sent you a wink could just not want it known by all that they're interested in TV/TS coz they're all embarrassed about it.

Yeah, that's always a hazard on here... These "straight" guys treat us TV/TS as their "dirty little secret"... Not very nice...

I know. Doesn't impress me at all.

A filter on body type would mean I was excluded by a lot of people, but I'm good with that. If fat isn't your type then you aren't going to fancy me so why not rule me out from the start?

Someone's type isn't going to dramatically change just because they have to block me manually!
