There's no excuse not to have one. It can be anything you want and as discreet as you like and regardless of how good or bad it is it at least shows more effort than not having one.
Nobody is going to be recognised from a torso pic as long as you don't have identifiable tatts etc. |

Weirdly enough I don't think that's 100% true. I see many profiles, both male and female with no pic, no bio, yet multiple veris. Now I understand women being able to get away with that due to female to male ratio but it's always baffled me how guys do unless they're fake veris? |

Clubs probably or cam.
There are lots of verifications on my couple profile, 99% are people we met in clubs or at socials. |

Personally I think everyone should have to have one as a rule. It doesn't have to be your face so I don't see any excuse for not having one and if you got tattoos you can always cover them or blur etc |

People who don't have them will get less interest from others, including people who prefer to search and find who they like, instead of just responding to messages they get. If they choose the search option for just profiles with public pics, you'll remain unknown
Do you want people to find you and determine you as attractive? Public pics are particularly essential for certain categories of users here. |

Actually, if you touch and hold a profile pic, then select open in new tab, it comes up at a reasonable size. Not quite as detailed as a full size gallery photo, but enough to pick out tatts and facial details. So those who really need to keep anonymity do have to be careful of even just their profile thumbnail. |
