Do men think it's a massive turn on if they either post pics of themselves in their military/naval/fire service/police service uniform you get my drift

Or head up their messages with

'Ex serviceman'

Don't get me wrong, I have utmost respect for people in frontline jobs just don't use the fact to try and smooze me into bed!

Grrrrr

What? Every girl doesn't love a fireman, well I'll go to the foot of our stairs

To be fair it's fairly often requested on female profiles so they just assume everyone likes that.

Bad assumption

I like a man in uniform but dont use it as a tool to get my attention

Does he deliver plastic or reusable glass bottles?

That might be a sticking point

To be fair, in my 20’s if someone had sent me a pic of themselves in uniform I’d have been pole vaulting through their window and dragging them to bed

Now, not so much.

A lot of women love a man in uniform. Why on earth shouldn't a man who wears one show himself in a way that some women are known to like men? You might as well start asking why some men show themselves in suits or why some women show themselves in nice dresses, lingerie or less.

People try to show themselves in an appealing way. I don't get what the problem is. People who don't make an effort get chastised. Now men who show themselves wearing something a lot of women like are being criticised. There's always somebody who is going to be upset by something.

Guess what I'm trying to say is for me it's about the person and the attraction not what they do or have done for a living

It is our differences and preferences that make Fab go round. Would be boring otherwise.

You wouldn't believe what some of men do, especially on the forums, to put themselves in the spotlight. It's so sad.

For those of you that are old enough to remember, the only military look I can pull off is Don Estelle in 'It ain't half hot Mum'

Lots of people are attracted to people in uniform and on Fab when competing for attention or hopefully to get a reply to a message I do understand why some men use it as a tool.

It doesn't work for me on fab when someone uses their profession as a hook because I would respond with "it's the person not the uniform" kind of response BUT in the real world you will all see me blatantly perving at the firemen at the local fire station when they are training etc

So in all fairness the poor guys can't win as there are double standards everywhere.
