Anyone on it? Im looking to make a claim and not sure how difficult it is to not get sanctions

I'm on it, been on it for wage top ups for around two or three years now and it works really well. Only issue I have is that I get paid four weekly and my UC is paid monthly, so when there's a month with five weeks (it's either April or May) it looks like I've been paid twice in the assessment period so I'm always a bit short that particular month. I think this year my assessment period ran from the 4th and I get paid on the 3rd. One day out.

UC is really easy to get at the moment and they’re pretty lenient regarding sanctions. As long as you keep in touch with your job officer or whatever they call emselves you’ll be fine. If you pay rent you can get housing benefit, max in total is £900 a month. Hope this helps buddy.

Also they keep u on it for 7 months I think it is even if u get a job which I have so dont think I will get any more money but I did get free glasses not sure if entitled to dentist though not that they open x
