"Black Friday is the 5th Friday of the month, the day after Thanksgiving in America. "
That's accurate but it still doesn't negate the fact some ppl refer to Friday 13th as Black Friday, fair enough xx |

Black Friday in this country, rather than that ridiculous American shopping frenzy import, is the last Friday before Christmas. This is because of the number of Christmas parties (usually) happening on that night, and the strain it puts on the emergency services. I’ve never heard it used for Friday 13th. |
