There are 60 bricks in a metre squared if laid in a stretcher bond pattern 63 if laid English garden wall pattern with 3 stretchers and 2 header. Beat that for boring |

Before modern Eco lightbulbs came into being , lightbulbs were specifically manufactured to only last a certain amount of hours so as to increase sales .
This started in the 70s , a d there is a lightbulb in a Fire Station that has worked continuously since 1902 and is still there working today  |

Ancient Greek words all have an accent, except under certain grammatical circumstances where the accent is "thrown back" onto the previous word.
The letter h does not exist in ancient Greek, it's marked by a "breathing". You also require a breathing at the start of any word beginning with a vowel, although a different one.
The other weird squiggle in ancient Greek is the iota subscript, probably referred to by Jesus when he said that no part of the law of Moses would be erased. You see it most frequently in words in the dative singular. |

Cliché was originally a printing term, for a block of regularly used text that had been pre-assembled to save time when putting together a printing plate. Only later taking on the meaning of an overused phrase. |

What about Fish N Chips?"
Fish N Chips is short for Fish, Ninety Chips. This is because there used to be ninety chips in a 'portion'. These were hand counted by small children removed from school once they could count up to 91.
As Fish, Ninety Chips became more popular the time taken to count out each portion of chips meant people would have to spend all day Friday queuing for their fish supper. Some unscrupulous Fish Ninety Chip shop owners would use children who could only count up to 72 to portion out their chips as they were much cheaper than the higher skilled 91 counters. The smaller portions also meant shorter queues so their establishments became more popular with people who had to work on Fridays.
Due to the introduction of the EU packaging regulations the owners of the short portion shops would face fines for each portion of chips containing less than 90, so they changed their name to Fish N Chips.
Interestingly, and perhaps surprisingly, in the US there are only 49 chips in a portion. The American Football team the San Francisco 49rs was set up by a group of chip counters who used to play in a car park during their lunch break. |
