"Is that the opposite of man flu?
Nothing is as bad as man-flu...
Although, having to listen to a man whinging about it comes pretty close.
Ouch! "
Only kidding, I'm always willing to press a cold compress on a fevered brow, make tea and at least 'act' sympathetic.

Man flu doesn't exist!
But now we have bird flu (lady flu)... and some birds are being slaughtered...
Outrageous!!!
Misogyny! "
I'd say it was more like murder
But quite right - equality is needed!
Next man to get man flu... gets it |

I have a theory that I sincerely hope is wrong
Due to essential covid spread prevention methods many people who would have had a flu during the year will not
Assuming those who did would have an immunity
When flu season normality comes round although prevalent its conduits are reduced due to part population immunity
I predict when covid precautions are relaxed considerably there indeed will be flu and maybe others that dramatically sweep across the population as mathematically there absolutely must be more people with an immune system open to catching it ??? |

"I watched a programme that explained that women cold better with flu because they need to raise their children..
That's tosh! Men have to raise their children, too... "
I think it goes back to caveman days. That was the theory and not modern living |

Might have some logic to that.
Men hunted and women needed to nurture. One of the functions of high fever is to eliminate some viruses that are sensitive to temperature changes. Men get higher fever (sicker) in order to get him better quicker to get out there and bring dinner home??
What are Kleenex Mansize tissues for if not to cater to Man-flu?
Incidentally, that bit about some viruses being sensitive to temperature changes explains why a potential Covid vaccine can only to taken out of refrigeration 4 times between manufacturing and the GP before being administered. |

"Will Christmas turkey prices be affected ?"
Depends how many farms have been affected. I think as long as 1 bird has been detected in a farm, all of them have to be culled. |
