Fair play to you for doing that in these times. How much notice do you have to give?
Wish you lots of luck for whatver you do next.
I left a toxic job about 3 years ago, the place left me anxious and a shadow of me. Had a major meltdown before quitting, some things aren't worth your health and sanity. I don't do anxiety or panic attacks but that job nigh on broke me.
I absolutely love where I work now! They are supportive, caring and always positive. I work for a large Worldwide corporation, yet you wouldn't think it.

I think it’s becoming more common with large global companies, they realise staff are the no.1 asset unlike UK SMEs where the CEO thinks it’s all down to him and often creates a toxic cult ire. Ours are awesome , supportive, reward very high, all through lockdown posting surprise gifts to us and this week £500 out the blue to buy non essential home office kit |

About 25 years ago I hated my job and line manager. Got myself another job on substantially more money and sent my termination letter to the MD by post, which would have landed on his desk the Monday morning, however he was away tfat day so didn't ooen the letter till Tuesday
That afternoon my line manager was on the phone to me giving me shit for not sending her my sales figures and other reports for the week before and I was pretty non responsive to her, so she came out with the line "you need to think carefully about if you want a future here" I really didn't want to tell her I was leaving but that tipped me over the edge so I replied "that's why my resignation letter has hit ..... ........ desk this morning" so shd slammed the phone down
The MD really didn't want me to leave so he tasked the line manager with the job of convincing me to stay, which was funny when she was creeping to me and offering pay increases |

How very true, you're right. For my company publicity is everything, at the top of their game and they want to stay there.
They expect a lot from us, but we get rewarded well for it.
Good to hear your company is great too! My son has been working from home and they do the same, semding gifts and hampers out, bonus's and he has a health and wellbeing check once a week.
When he was in the office they had a relaxed ethos, encouraged chat and friendships, had once a month pub quiz, and held Pizza and beer nights, I guess it's because the majority of his colleagues relocated from all over the World as well as the UK so health and Wellbeing is a big thing. He loves his job and close to his team, they spend hours outside of work chatting |

"A good manager and tiered managers make the job!
Pleased to say my toxic manager was ‘managed’ out and what dramatic change it made for the better. My current manager is bloody ace "
This is how we work, in a tiered management structure. Definite the way to go |
