Yep.

I've even seen status updates on here with members saying they have the vaccine and to get in touch if you want it.

The desperation and lows some people will go to makes me sad to be a human

Manchester (she/her)

I've had a huge uptick in scam calls.

I used to waste their time.

Now I tell them exactly what I think of them. Ain't pretty.

"I've had a huge uptick in scam calls.

I nearly got caught out by the 'Amazon' scam a month or so ago.

Called the landline (which I don't even know the number to) saying my account had been automatically renewed and £79.99 being taken from my bank account. To agree press 1, to cancel press 2.

I was just about to hit 2 in a panic coz the money I had in my account was for my phone bill waiting to be taken out when it hit me that I'd never have given my landline as contact coz I don't even know the fucking number!

I was moments away from losing money I really didn't have to lose.

A box at end of your bed

O yer I had the HSBC text and the HMRC phone call with the arrest warrant issued, along with a couple of others.

It's quite worrying when you first listen can understand how people are scammed. I always hang up and do a Google search for any new scams out there when I get something untoward.

Keep your wits about you people.
