How a comment from a stranger, can brighten your mood and your day.
I've had a pretty shitty few days, arguments, deep discussions and a tough subject to tackle tomorrow.
I even hid my profile.
Bur thanks to a simple comment from a lady on here. I see that things aren't always as black as they seem.
What simple act has made your day recently? |

Does it count if i made an old man happy on tuesday. We where at the torch and a really old couple where behind us the guy could hardly wobble with his stick, i made room for him to come in front and held his arm. When it had finished his wife said thankyou to me and that he wasnt well. So that made my day then |

Makes my day when my disabled daughter smiles and gives me a hug..... Makes up for the rotten things she does like not sleeping at night and beating me up !!
And knowing that out of sexy fun you can get a very positive friendship that will last for ever!!! |

Not today, but last Saturday I was at Duxford at Flying Legends. I had a friends two children with me - Harry 10 and Amber, 12. Both are very 'into' anything connected with aircraft - old and new. We were in the American Air Force Museum standing by the Liberator and I was trying to explain to the kids how young the men were who flew these aeroplanes and that they are now very elderly.
An elderly gentleman stood alongside me, and as I paused in my little 'speech' he said quietly 'I used to fly one of those...'.
This, now, 90 yr old gentleman (never asked his name) then sat and told the kids all about his time as a 22-23 yr old wireless operator flying in a stripped out refuelling tanker between Ceylon (Sri Lanka) and India at the end of WW2 - for anyone who knows anything about it, one hell of a fuckin dangerous job.....
The kids were absolutely enthralled by this chaps tale - priceless.......
To see their faces, just made my day.. Thank you Old Chap - whoever you are..
