"I've been yearning for a family Xmas for over a decade.
That won't happen so I'll pass.
How about a new draught excluder instead? "
well it IS pretty draughty, and that's before my arse joins in creating wind! |

"To have the whole, extended family round for Christmas dinner as usual (12 of us) - but sadly that can’t happen this year! "
Register yourself and home address as a business at company house. Employ all your family on zero hour contracts and have them round for unpaid training. Can have more than 6 people in a workplace. |

They could just move in with her?
People can still move house, they're no rules on the number of people living together and there are no documents to fill out.
Then maybe if it doesn't work out, they can all move out again (that evening) |

Mental health support groups are exempt from the rules. I think by Christmas lots of people will be using that as a loophole to be with family.

I want it not to be raining; a cold and crisp day for a nice walk and a glass of something fizzy. I'll raise my glass to all my family and friends who I'm not allowed to be with. |
