Actually the specifics were to cut out bone and cartilage to aid childbirth.

But interesting nether the less.

I imagine being in the final stage of labour. The midwife bursts into the room in full safety gear, revving up a chain saw. That baby is getting born double quick before she gets near me

I saw it on Facebook. If you google it, it is actually a fact. Pretty grim but was developed surprisingly to try and alleviate pain during childbirth

They used a power saw on my ankle when I had an ORIF procedure to fix trimalleolar fracture
