I was diagnosed with cancer again on the 21st Sep. I had breast cancer in Oct 17.

I have metastatic breast cancer in my bones, all in my pelvis. I had to have a right hip replacement 6wks ago as the damage to the head of my femur due to the cancer was too bad. I am now on hormone therapy for the cancer which is giving me side effects. All totally unexpected & a huge shock. Thought I would be cancer free for a while longer. I am only 43.

So I am very proud of what I have dealt with. Yet again, life has thrown me something else to overcome. And yet again, I am strong & smiling. Nothing else for it.

Life throws some people a curve ball at times, that's a real bulldozer you've been thrown there.

Be proud of the way you've handled it I wish you all the best xx

I've lost almost half a stone in about four weeks by resisting the temptation to buy biscuits when out shopping and not snacking as much when home

Graduated from uni

also stopped cutting / slicing with a lot of help from my husband used to cut on a regular basis and a few times was lucky family found me when they did or I wouldn’t be here. So yeh, kind of self proof to have overcame the demons and doing that xx

No alcohol for 6 weeks now and not missing it.

Actually now the longest spell off the drink for 26 years when recovering from a ulcer.

Yes it's a bit like me with the fags at times, have to remember I don't need the cigarette kiosk anymore.

Way to go though xc

Now that deserves a big round of applause, I too have battled those demons in the past but can kick their arses now.

Way to go girl

I'd be climbing the walls after three days of quitting cigarettes and would always break and rush out to buy some. I have now switched to vaping instead.

And I've almost cut the snacking out completely

Thank you and likewise it’s a huge emotional relief to be able to look back and not have the desire or need to do it again x
