Do you look at the creator of the topic before you reply or the title of the thread?
Personally, I like to read a topic that may interest me and reply rather than the poster, but do admit to being blinkered by the poster and not even been arsed to read it. What about you? Topic or poster? No naming names pleas as this isnt a bitchy post, Im just curious. |

topic really but there are a few interesting or funny posters whose threads I would have a shufty at too.
Depends on the mood too. Sometimes I like a political thread and some days I just wanna play would you fuck. |

Always the thread title, if its something I'm interested in then I will post regardless of who wrote it.
To avoid a thread just because a certain member has written something signifies personal issues with a person based on what they write on a forum. Thankfully I am not threatened or indeed affected by insecurities to let a poster put me off as its only a forum and hardly that important. |

That's a huge assumption isn't it? And misses out so many other possibilities why someone won't post on a thread someone has started or contributed on. |

I don't realy mind who posts a thread. If I am interested in the topic, I will have a look at the first post and scan through the following posters then reply....... |

As this morning is my first time mooching through the Lounge, it's obviously been the topics that have appealed to me.
If I saw a friend's name attached to a thread then I would probably make more of an effort to look and see what they've got to say, but otherwise it would have to be a topic that catches my attention |

What would be the possibilities then.
If you are interested in a thread but don't post because a certain poster has started it. Or you take a conscious decision not to post on a thread a certain member has started, then why let anonymous people affect you on the internet.
I read a title, I click on it if I want to see what its about. If I've got something to say ill post. I pay more attention to the content of the written word than I do the authors |

I meant I am blinkered when I see certain posters and automatically assume that their thread wont be for me, nothing personal just not my cup of tea |
