Outrageous nerve pain again tonight. Any suggestions?

Cocodomol and nurofen not touching the sides.

CBD seems an absolute lottery.

If it's genuinely nerve pain, then pregabalin helps mine but doesn't get rid of it. Nothing gets rid of it. Codeine only works to anaesthetise myself and I only take it if desperate.

I'm almost 4yrs into my nerve injury adventure FYI. May I ask the origins of the pain?

Couple of things, really. This weekend was a trapped nerve in my shoulder.

Also have a back problem with sciatica, and my I seem to get rheumatic with the weather like the grumpy old man I am

I'd go and "see" the GP (in practice, probably means a phone appointment). Re: the sciatica if it's moving down into a limb, causing weakness or any other sensory changes, it's worth pushing for an MRI in case you have a disc prolapse compressing a nerve root or stenosis or something. Re: the shoulder, similar really, nerves don't usually get "trapped" then untrapped. If something is impinging in the shoulder, it might need dealing with eg. bony spur. If you look up "shoulder impingement" on the NHS website, it explains a bit there. Physio can help (if you can get to one). Private physios are open, NHS ones seem not to be.
