Not that it was ever buzzing before  but with the new lockdown it's virtually radio silence (apart from the idiots at 2am looking to meet).

My inbox is normally a desert. Only been fairly busy since yesterday because of the thread I posted and even then I sent all the first messages lol.
The only time my inbox is ever really busy on here is when I'm organising events so God knows when that will happen! |

My inbox is the quietest it has ever been too, it's not you, it is the current situation.
I have no message filters on at all at this time, & yet still may only get 5 or 6 messages a day!

I always like a chat.
It's has been quieter then usual since covid and it's getting worse as it goes on, seeing the same people in the forums all the time and the same people messaging too. I'm not a cam regular but I can bet its the same in there too, the regular fabbers still enjoying the social digital side on lockdown.
Its to be expected I guess as we're legally not allowed to meet.

Our experience with non meet chats is that after 3 messages it dries up, and I am tired of carrying the conversation.
It's a shame, but I expect it's because people don't want to waste time getting to know people they may not meet for a while if ever. |

I've never received 100 messages even on a good day! I get lots and lots of views but not many messages. Maybe my profile puts people off, but that is my real personality and a realistic portrayal of my body so a good filter I guess - if they don't like my profile they won't like me |

Haha I quite liked the way my inbox used to be! Maybe about 20 or 30 messages per day depending on how active I was, not too much to handle but still a nice amount of attention to be getting. I have my filters set pretty tight so that cuts out a lot of the "faf" brigade (although not all...). When I let my filters down for forum games I do get a lot more, but the quality of the messages also goes down. |

I just block repeat messagers. Sounds harsh but at least neither of us waste our time.
Also lets me know they're just pandering bullshitters. If I really was that stunning/beautiful/had an "amazing" body you'd think they'd remember me at least |

I would. In fact, right now it's all I'd be interested in....
But I wouldn't worry about a quiet inbox - I've haven't logged in here for about a fortnight and not one of my friends messaged to see if I was OK. I get emails when I get a message so I could have logged on for that
(friends with my phone number who I chat to away from here did check in, so it's not all bad |

Mine has always had a healthy number of messages to keep me entertained throughout the day, but blimey! I put up 2 new (what I thought were nice) photos AND a video, and.... my inbox has been the quietest it’s been in my 2 years on Fab!

I reply to people in my friends list and sometimes others.
I just ignore the rest. They fall off eventually or sometimes I do a bulk delete. |
