Hey,

Do you know of any nice places to walk to dog during lockdown in and around coventry. Fancy finding some new spots as I have all of the time on my hands.

"Find a park "

I get that. But parks are normally full of dick heads.

I have found a place recently that is nice and quiet and has cute little ponds scattered around. It's nice. I want more places like that.

Start walking whilst in Coventry. Aim yourself out of it. Keep walking.........

I quite like walking around Ryton Pools.

There are also a few beautiful walks around Stoneleigh.

Stoneleigh is a great shout actually. It'll be dead up there. Thank you very much.

Find any nice walks? There are some good trails around Hawksbury and out towards bulkington. Also, the woods in-between Whitley/Binley and Brandon are really nice, lots of tall forest and trails leading out.

Grantham

Find church yards, they are often quiet.

Very peaceful too and reading some of the headstones can make you feel lucky to still be alive

Haha - yes, a truck driver I know says the best thing about Coventry is the A46 out of it!

Seriously - coombe abbey is nice, I used to go fishing there as a kid,

Warwick castle is also nice as is the village of berkswell,

Walking from the centre out to and then around Memorial Park is nice and quite safe, well as safe as Coventry gets

That's weird. I'm actually going up there now to have a walk in the snow.
