"Good morning to all anyone on here own there own company. I have an idea for myself but dont know the first thing about it " I may be no expert, but I wouldn't have though that starting a company doing something that you know nothing about was a good idea. Maybe start by doing lots of research? Cal

"Not atm but i used to. Best advice i can give you is chat to your accountant. They always have the best methods when it comes to this sort of stuff. My one got me the solicitors and advised on the paperwork etc (for a small fee ofcourse) Second advice i can give is to make sure you check that your idea is original and sustainable for atleast 6months to a year. Most company's go bust before reaching one year in business, mostly because of bad planing and too much hopeful thinking. Plan for the worst, always." This is good advice. Get yourself a good Solicitor and a good and helpful accountant
"I do, but all mine needs is me, a laptop and a car, so not sure how much I help I'd be A good accountant is, as said above, essential though" I should also point out, I don't rely on it for my main income I have a 9-5 job too Neither are bombproof - I am currently furloughed on my 9-5 and due to lockdown, whilst I can pick up *some* work, it is still 20-30% of what it could be

"I do, but all mine needs is me, a laptop and a car, so not sure how much I help I'd be A good accountant is, as said above, essential though nice what do you do mine would only need a laptop to start with aswell " I offer small businesses advice on HR, Quality Management & Health & Safety The kind of stuff that is important, but often gets overlooked by smaller businesses - or, even if they are aware, they often can't afford a full-timer to make sure they are on top of such things It allows them to concentrate on growing their business, whilst knowing the back office stuff is looked after
"We have a couple of different business interests. What is it you’re struggling with? Remember the idea should be for something you want to do or provide, be that a service or a tangible. The actual establishment of and setting up of the business itself is then just the vessel for that to happen, so don’t get caught up and worry too much about company registration and accountants etc. That’s the easy bit. What you want to focus on is what you are going to provide, how you’re going to deliver that, and to who. It’s very basic, after all this is a swingers website. But focus on those questions until you have the answers clear in your head. Then expand out from there. You’ll find as you drill down into each question you come across issues and gaps that will at least get you thinking about the right things. You want to sell tomatoes for instance. “How” will get you thinking about sourcing them, where you sell them from, how you transport them to you and the. The customer etc. Do you need a tomato licence to be able to do this? “Who” would set your price point, and whether you want to be local or national, maybe you’d like to be a distributor and sell to businesses Good luck to you. It’s a tough climate at the moment but we really hope you succeed. Be prepared for a lot of work though. You can’t clock out when you’re in charge " yes thanks I like this so best way is to get the stuff I need the make a website and advertise

"Hi, I have set up some businesses myself and acquired others to develop them. My firm advice is: Don’t go it alone without taking good advice from people with experience particularly Financial advice (Accountant / Bank etc) Research your idea, is anyone else doing it, are they doing well, why? How? Consider a partner, 2 minds is often a better way as you will have support Make sure you have enough cash behind you to get it off the ground and don’t underestimate the time it might take, which will be longer than you think. Try and test the market, do you know anyone who will buy your product? If yes, understand why and how many other people / companies will be prepared to pay for it and how much. Last advice, don’t be scared, fear of starting is the biggest reason many entrepeneurs don’t make it off the start line " yes awesome my target market is huge and I have others that could help me along the way and also offer there services to my clinets
"Good morning to all anyone on here own there own company. I have an idea for myself but dont know the first thing about it " Theres some great advice on here and ive seen too many people run at something and seemingly be ok on the surface but there's no solid foundation so everything crumbles unless you are extremely lucky. Its all in the groundwork and preparation. I would also be asking why do I want to be self employed, what am I expecting from this, as it certainly isn't an easy option but when it works, it works.

"Ensure you have a decent cash "float" as some people don't pay bills on time. Don't trust anyone is always good practice. " yes that's the thing I have thought about its cost effective to begging with dont need much to start with but would eventually want my one property ri work out of where my clients could come to
"Impossible without knowing about your situation but general advice would be Write a business plan first and be honest with the information you put in it to work out it's financial viability. Ask your bank if they have a new business person to talk to. If yours doesn't look at Barclays for example The gov.com website has a section on new business start ups. If you're unemployed now talk to the job centre because they might have funding through the enterprise scheme. " wow thank you
