Why do guys state "you won't regret it" or "you won't be disappointed" the moment I see a message or profile with either of these on I am instantly put off as, I reckon, most women are.
Guys, give me an insight into why fellas feel the need to state these things? Genuinely think they are the best thing going? Trying to be confident when they're really shy?

Yup absolutely hate this!! It’s like oh since you’ve said that I’ll just drop my knickers now??
Another pet hate is like the dickhead I just said no to (as he’s over 200 miles away) who then replies “oh I prefer slimmer girls than you anyways” - absolute c*nt if you reply like that tbh |

Id assume, when looking at a profile one thinks of the end result and i find it that answering this upfront may help ease the lookers feelings
Hence why some have 'you won't regret it'
I personally use a variation of this, all the way at the bottom.

My thinking was as i described above.
