Fair play!

My daughter is with her dad this weekend but next weekend we’re putting ours up. I’ve got such lovely Xmas stuff, I got this white carriage ornament thing that’s got figures dancing inside it and it lights up, it’s gorgeous. I wanna enjoy it for more than a couple of weeks!

I'm not the biggest fan of xmas but always force myself to do it for my boys.. Always make the effort and wear my fake smile. Then sob into a bottle of prosecco whilst wrapping gifts late on Xmas eve and again once the kids crash out on christmas night.

Last year we checked out of the whole thing by going on holiday.

This year though, I've decided I'm going to love it! I've been indulging in Christmas drinks and foods already. Tunes are on so my Xmas solo is being choreographed ready for filming at the end of the month. Lots of festive goodies have begun to be purchased, and as soon as they are available, I'll be getting a real tree and filling the house with fairy lights.

I might be lonely at Christmas still but I refuse to let it make me feel miserable for another year xx

I hate xmas and haven't put up decorations for some time, I had a clear out a few weeks back & all the decent 'decs' went to the charity shop, the rest went in the bin.

I’ll be solo too but I’m content at the moment. Not gonna risk anything affecting my mood by getting chatting to any guys. Guys are off the menu completely till the new year! X

Xmas cheer in 2020

Is that like putting toilet roll over an Elephant turd?

Kids have got their shopping lists on the go though & I’m sure H will be sending me up the loft soon enough.

In The Hills

I put my tree up last night and some of the room decorations, did the dinning table today along with wrapping most of the Christmas presents. First year since I can remember not having a real tree but my thinking is 2020 so fuck it

Hope it's a brilliant Christmas. I think telling yourself you are going to enjoy it can actually work. Mind over matter.

Might get my fairy lights out too.

I've been living in my home for almost 15 year's and I've never once put a tree up .

I live alone and rarely ever have guests, so whats the point?
