Hey all, hope you are well and doing ok with the second lockdown.
Thought it might be good to say hello and just generally chat to keep all our spirits up. |

"Is everyone finding it hard with no play? Well sure you are all playing still in your own way. "
Kind of. The human interaction side of things I miss flirting and and kissing!! Oh my god kissing is soooo underrated. There’s only so much fun a girl can have with her battery operated boyfriend lol. |

"I struggle to understand how anyone can be lonely after not even three days into the lockdown."
Some people never came out of the first because they were in tier 3 or shielding... |

"I struggle to understand how anyone can be lonely after not even three days into the lockdown."
I've been locked away since March.
I'm type1 diabetic so highly vulnerable.
It's just me and my dog |

Also don't forget, we have been in tier2 for weeks now here in Shields. Households have not been allowed to mix for ages.
If anyone needs a listening ear, or a daft joke to cheer them up, or talk dirty my messages are always open

I struggle to understand why you felt it necessary to post this on a thread that was done to help people. Let's just hope you don't find loneliness down the line yeah? |

Great thread op. I’m finding this second lockdown particularly challenging. I feel like I managed the first lockdown pretty well (the better weather and novelty factor helped) but this one feels more foreboding. I’m sure we’ll all get through this but the impact on our collective mental well-being should not be under estimated.
Let’s all keep chatting and supporting each other and we’ll (hopefully) make it through in a relatively good shape.

Just a few reasons: shielding, tier 3, living alone, depression.
If you're not feeling alone, good for you. But please have a little compassion for those that are. Be nice! |

"Come on guys - one things you should and shouldn’t have done already today? Lol"
Great idea, I'm feeling super down and lonely today. One thing that should not have happened is my sisters husband telling me he has a crush on me!! and as they are my bubble has made it very very awkward |

Is there a particular reason you're finding it challenging? Were there any good aspects about the first one (apart from the great weather)?
I got outdoors more in the last one and that helped. Yesterday's Mindfulness thread was helpful too.
I went out today even though it was misty and freezing here, and I'm glad I did. I paid attention to the birds chirping, the trees and the squirrels and it took my mind off everything that bothers me. |
