The only Christmas song I like is 'Fairytale of New York'. Mainly for this verse: 'You're a bum, you're a punk // You're an old slut on junk // Lying there almost dead on a drip in that bed // You scumbag, you maggot // You cheap, lousy faggot // Happy Christmas, your arse // I pray God it's our last'

They now often play the ‘sanitised’ version of this and drop the word Faggot .... very sad!

But not the line 'old slut on junk'? How queer is that.

This is currently on repeat as I'm choreographing for it for a burlesque routine. I'll not hear it in the same way ever again

Diagonally Parked in a Parallel Universe

Ring Out Solstice Bells - Jethro Tull

Gaudete - Steeleye Span

Most tracks off the "We Wish You A Metal Xmas and a Headbanging New Year" album.

There and to the left a bit

Around Xmas (from mid-December until Boxing Day) I don't mind most of them

The only one I like, and play, all year round though is Fairytale Of New York which is so much more than a Xmas song

I found a mash up of Mariah Carey's "All I Want For Christmas" and Marilyn Manson's "Beautiful People" it's strangely enjoyable.

Fairytale Of New York definitely our favourite.

Also big fans of - Cashing In On Christmas - by Bad News, it's very silly!
