Most times people deserve more than an empty word. Only time I might swear is when in pain or surprised, not always then. It can be surprisingly satisfying to say something mild, like a Jane Austen character, when it merits more; you end up laughing.  |

I took his comment as a joke. Language is words and grammar in context to convey meaning. It *cannot* dictate who you are (decent or otherwise). However the language you choose to use is a pretty good external indicator of behaviour. Choosing to swear all the time when you know it causes offence is not an accident, but deliberate signal.
Jeremy Kyle is a whole new swear word - exploitatitve narcissistic emotional leach. Which is not as satisfying as saying he's a dickhead.
FTR I like bottom feeders. They clean up all the crap the useless frilly ones pump out all day |

I don't generally swear, which makes my foul mouth when it's fuelled by fire in my eyes, quite a thing on the ears (and other places).
