Many people, for all sorts of reasons. It's a fairly non-intrusive way of indicating an interest, but is accepted that there is nothing at all rude about ignoring them. If you wink and don't get a wink or message in return, just move on to the next person of interest. |

Try getting 500ish winks per day from silhouettes, profiles with no pics, miles away, nothing written on the profile, except the 'will fill in later' crap and then wonder why!!! |

We check winks, however we find the majority of winker actually do not read the profile. It's a quick form of communication that does not require to read things and check the profile they are reading to see if they are compatable.
Example, we have a height requirement of 6ft, mostly ignored by winker, we state we only meet locally, we get winks from London etc.
So back to the question, we don't ignore winks. We ignore the winker that do not meet what we seek.
