(Not another peppercorn!! ) lost and found !

I broke my large pepper grinder yesterday scattering multiple little black balls all over my kitchen floor!

After picking some up by hand, hoovering up hundreds more, and even finding a few while I mopped my tiles this morning, I still keep finding the blessed things!

Oh look. There's another one!

The peppercorn hunt continues.

It isn't nearly as exciting as an Easter egg hunt though!

So this brings me loosely onto the topic of looking for things!

What have you lost? Did you ever find it? & was it somewhere completely unexpected?

Mopping your tiles...

Never heard it called that before!

How did they get in there?

About 20 years ago Mr N lost his wedding ring, we hunted high and low but couldn't find it. A couple of years later he was washing his car, looked on the ground and there it was!

Another time he lost his glasses, couldn't find them either. Months afterwards we were clearing the garage, wrapped tightly in a cloth bag, inside another bag were his glasses.

Stayed up late looking for it, totally exhausted at the end of the day i headed to bed... undressed and my fucking phone fell out of my bra..

Spilt a load of dry rice in the kitchen once. Even months later kept finding grains. Gets into every nook and cranny.

Reminds me of the old Christmas tree needles dropping!! I remember as a kid, being crippled in August by those bad boys working their way out of the carpet still!!

I walk around barefoot all the time in the house and kept getting rice between the toes.

Hubby lost his wedding ring whilst diving in Maldives... On day one of being there... On our honeymoon. Luckily he got it before the sand covered it over!

I did this on a night out, retraced our steps to all the pubs we'd visited. Imagine my mortification when my friend rang it and my bra started ringing
