I couldn’t date a Tory, or an avid Brexit supporter.
Always thought I wouldn’t date a Man Utd supporter, but then I married one.... the divorce is at Decree Nisi stage though, should have stuck with my principles |

Blimey reading this has knocked me off a few lists!  .
Religious/political/football team views wouldn’t come into it for me if we got on and the attraction was there. If someone had extreme political views, whether left or right, we definitely wouldn’t be compatible. Having said that there are lots of things I look for, too many to list, but not that kind of thing. |

Not sure if I should be surprised or not but to see topics such as Brexit, politics and religion mentioned actually caught me off guard slightly.
I was given a great piece of advice, spend time with people who are the opposite of what you believe / stand for. Listen to their points of view, and when I say listen I mean listen to learn and not listen to reply.
If you always spend time with people who are exactly aligned as you are then you will get confirmation bias, this will not be good for you.
Once you have listened to the opposite side you may learn some things, some positive, some negative. To rule out dating someone for to the points above without speaking one word to them seems very odd to me, closed minded some might say. |

This is about who you want to date or not date. I dont think many people are saying they wouldnt listen to another point of view.....just that they dont want to sleep with a point of view they disagree with |
