Visiting Blackpool

A Drinkaware survey found 26% of people drank more during the first lockdown.

Did you drink...

More?

Less?

About the same?

I did find we drank a bit more. We did an alcohol free August and I didn't drink during October either to balance it out a bit. Just need to try and do the same with cake

Probably the same but only due to working nightshift. At times the stress levels have been very high so thankfully i am unable to have a drink as need to go to work.

Probably less as I drank often but a lot less I would have one rum and a night compared to 5/6 on a Friday and the same on a Saturday during non lockdown.

I'm a social drinker have been all my adult life. I don't drink at home only on special occasions and the odd day in the garden in summer, when really hot ( so rare )

Not had a drink for 5 weeks now and probably won't until xmas.

Drinking a bit less

2 bottles of red wine a week is probably where I'm at.

Stress levels dictate the speed of consumption but never the quantity. I have a pretty astute off button.

I have started to take notes of my alcohol consumption in January and after an increase in March and April it is back to normal levels, I try to have at least three alcohol free days per week.

This lockdown starts on my birthday, I have 6 different beers stocked up and ready! After that, I will probably cut down on my drinking!

Definitely more.. It was a novelty.. Not going out this afternoon so I'll pour a glass wine... And more stress... Pour a glass of wine..

Not up tomorrow... Pour a glass wine. But since first lockdown ended.. I rarely drink now! Bizzare..

Probably less. No profound reason, just the re-opening of pubs in their restricted form (which worked ok) doesn't seen so far away this time.

My alcohol consumption has definitely gone up, meaning that instead of having a drink a couple of times a month, I'm having a drink (singular) three or four times a week.

I don't I'm quite in the Oliver Reed league just yet.
