I am quite partial to Fuller's golden pride, it is a nice beer that comes in at 8.5% ABV.

I prefer belgium beers though.

Idk if you can find it there but the brurey out of california did a holiday beer for the past 12 years

My Dad made some nice beer Includeing Nettle beer.. but that aside I like a number of bottled beers, speckled hen,crafty dad (6.5 Volume) abbot ale, badger ales are nice to amongst others..

I don,t recall seeing this beer anywhere else in over 40 years and if I have I can,t remember doing so but it was quite strong to drink he used to use nettles straight from the garden ( The term home brew ) was quite appropiate here..

Both big ale drinker. If only we could remember. We've been a few places/nights out where we've tried some excellent ales (there is such a rich and varied variety from across the country these days). The trouble is by the morning after often our memory seems to be some what erased as to the names of what we d*unk the night before.

Wish I could remember what it was called, OP. It was one that was almost "syrup", very dark and tasted of a bitter chocolate orange!.amazing.... But at 14 quid a pint.... Lol. But I'd have been shite-hawked on 28 nicker!!
