Under the Duvet

I'm embracing middle age and lockdown and I need a pouffee.

Any recomendations from fellow pouffee lovers?

A pouffee or a foot stool?

Foot stools from Ikea or upcycled from charity shops

I do like a pouffee though

See pic of me in my natural rainy Sunday habitat

Get yourself to John Lewis for one. It’s where I got mine from ( until it was destroyed by some ones dog )

Hefty Hideaway

Pouffee is such a satisfying word to say.

I like the little ottoman ones that I can hide chocolates inside

I got a lovely one from B&M last winter but it got repurposed in the kids room. Pfft.

I have a pale pink one from John Lewis. It's velvet and soft and I love it.

I can remember as a child my mother making them. She worked for Silver Cross prams sewing the hoods and aprons, they provided an industrial sewing machine at home for her and delivered the material.

She used four Cow and Gate baby milk tins and old stockings and days for the cushioning plus of course an outer made from the pram hood material. She made them for all the neighborhood.

Depends where you live but if you want quality go to Lee Longlands or if your budget doesn't stretch that far, maybe Cousins.
