At 54 not for me no. I've always been a kinky male it's not something I've acquired over the years.
I do question why some older/mature people still don't know what does it for them and what doesn't.
I do believe some get into certain stuff just to get some action. I don't think that's being open minded or experimental, just perhaps a little desperation on their part.

I don't necessarily think it's a case of you get kinkier, more you become more sexually confident and open to exploring over time and discover either new things or unsuppress old ones - and maturity means you're more open to discussing with a partner things you'd like to try.
I also think it may be a generational thing - that may well be different for younger people now than it was when I was their age - when I was in my formative sexual years, anything outside of vanilla was considered odd and mostly sniggered at - with the internet showing people that it is ok to like "different" things I suspect younger people are more open to exploring - although that doesn't come without its downsides either as there is a danger that young people can think some extreme activities are the norm and to be expected, which couldn't be further from the truth. |
