Nice guys come last, sadly it is a reality. But don’t lower your standards we are in strange times, things will get better. Try treating this site as a place to meet friends. You cannot do anything else at the moment anyway, no matter what some think. Then when it is over you will have met some lovely people you would actually want to meet and see where that goes.

Being yourself is the best thing. Everyone adds something to discussions, even if many posts don't get quoted etc. If you were physically in a large group of people discussing a topic, you'd find something similar happening. Often in fab it's managing our expectations that is the most important step, to ensure that we are comfortable here |
