It's one of those things
People want to maintain their anonymity whilst you compromise yours
Women and couples have the upper hand in this as more guys contact them as opposed to them contacting the guys
When you add in the security element, especially for single ladies, it makes more sense
When you add in the fact they either didn't fancy you (or something in your profile put them off) it makes more sense
In that situation, I understand why some look and block straight away

I think they could have been a little kinder and said sorry not my type instead of just blocking you, but I do always ask for a face pic if there isn't one on the profile visable |
