What’s the di?erence between a hippo and a Zippo?

One’s really heavy; the other’s a little lighter.

There’s a current player at Man Utd that holds the world record for clearing a game of hungry hippos in the fastest time.

I can’t remember his name as football is for Wendy’s but I heard it.

Their well known in the Animal kingdom not sure how long they have been around for perhaps not as long as the croc/Aligator family, They use to frequent britain once the fossilised bones of one were found near the banks of the river derwent in derby in the past or recent times.

They're not evil, just like nor are lions or hyenas or crocodiles. They're just doing what comes naturally to them. They don't sit scheming under the surface of the Limpopo deciding which human to kill next. If you stray into their territory, you take a huge risk, just like you do walking out on the savannah.

Generally you're right, have had a couple of close calls before where I either made a mistake, or was just in the wrong place at the wrong time..... But was once deliberately ambushed by one that had purpose, intent and a plan. Wouldn't call him evil, but he was pissed off with humans and wanted to kill one.

Generally speaking though despite being incredibly dangerous, lovely, placid animals when admired from a safe distance!

I think the sad truth is if you were close enough to be ambushed, to the hippo, you were in it's zone and it was just telling you to get stuffed. This is the issue when humans spread out too much. Also yes, if Herr Hippo had been harassed by humans before, you'd possibly excuse his lack of trust

He'd ride the hippo into a death charge to pulverise the Croc then bait the shark to sign a 5 film movie franchise

There and to the left a bit

It's a known fact that hippos are the world's deadliest large land mammal and kill more people per year than sharks

There's only one species on earth that could deserve to be called evil, and some of them can be quite nice occasionally.

How's the hippos doing in South America? The ones Pablo Escobar brought over to his estate. Last I heard they were breeding and getting out of control.

There are some killer hippies around my way that I feel pose more of a threat to me, but I wouldn't like to come across either unless in a zoo. A hippy zoo would be class, plus they'd probably let you feed the animals in that zoo

It depends on the venue. If it's in Las Vegas, my money is on the hippo.

I know of someone who was killed by a hippo!!

Two rules with hippos, don’t get between them and their calf

Don’t get between them and the water, as they will feel trapped

Unfortunately the chap I know off vehicle had broken down, he was on his own and walking back to a village. Unbeknown to him there was a hippo one side of the road and the calf the other...

No no no its that they can't run downhill under water (or climb underwater trees). Tsk, advice like that will kill more people than covid.
