Yes they do. When I was young, 50 was really old. Women aged 50 had curly perms and wore polyester A line skirts and nasty sweaters.
60 year women had grey hair in a bun, flowery nylon frocks and saggy brown tights and sensible shoes.

Do you think as we age our own perception of what constitutes looking old also moves?
At 20 an 60 year old would look old whereas a 30 year old looked great.
So as we approach the same higher numbers someone 10-15 year older, 60-65yr will still look great but to a 20 year old looks old? |

Well I think people have got to remember sometimes age is just a number it just depends on how well you look after yourself there are some 30-year olds out there that look older and there are some 60-year olds like you say that look younger it all depends on how you look after yourself |

Much prefer women in their 60s 70s and 80s. Saggy empty boobs are gorgeous to me as are wrinkles. But if I say that's what I'm looking for, especially if they are slim or skinny, then these women just don't message or seem interested....as though I've somehow offended them. I think an active lifestyle has been extended. My father played cricket to about 50, then swapped to crown green bowling. I have just completed my 2nd ironman at 63, along with many men and women as old and older than me. Training, nutrition, support and expectations for older people is now streets ahead of what it was a generation ago. If my father or grandfather had considered running a marathon they would have been looked at as rather strange. So people nowadays are just physically fitter for longer. |

I'm the lucky hubby of 44years met at 16 and flipped my lid there and then, sexy doesn't cover it then or now age isn't a boundary it's a reflection of your score. We will keep enjoying and saving the moments all the time we can. |
