Gym fit self indulgent

Hi all, not tarnishing everyone with the same brush but from watching vids and looking at pics in this site and reading peoples preferences it appears that the middle aged man dad bod doesn't get much of a look in. Apart the age preference on profiles I have often seen and wondered what pleasure some ladies are getting. Videos of so called hunks saying "I will stick to you" or "take all of me etc" whilst posing so they are the main attraction makes me cringe. I am hoping the ladies are getting as much as the men as surely both people or groups of people would all be looking to be satisfied simultaneously. Is it just me thinking out side the box or do a lot of people on here like to be used and left unsatisfied for the benefit of someone else's profile? Just a thought. I know taboo and fetishes come into play here but I do get the impression that many are left unsatisfied but still choose to glorify others by posting or letting others post the content.
I have not got the most glamorous profile but I feel that I would give as much pleasure as I would like recieve. Saying this I am learning so much every day about what people like and and dislike. It's just weird that there are some decent people out there of all sexes who are not able to show there full potential due to profiles offering more than what they can actually deliver. |

It is possible for a gym fit guy to be a generous lover too...
Saying that, I'm happy with a dad bod too, just saying you should automatically assume a guy is selfish because he's fit. |

Why would someone who is gym fit self indulgent? You wouldn't say someone to enjoyed knitting was. It's their hobby good for them.
I can't personally say I've read many profiles saying they want gym fit. There's been plenty of threads on so called dad bods on here and there are plenty of women who like them.  |

I understand it can be frustrating that for the less gym minded, all the rock hard abs make it feel that anyone that doesn't hit the gym is unwanted. But its worth remembering that this site is about fulfilling fantasies. And for some women, that's what they want. But I've met plenty of times. And I am not Tom Hardy. Some women like cuddly, or favour wit and charm. The biggest problem is the ratio of men to women. Ha ha |

Face it, most women on here want young Adonis’, the men want slim filthy women and the alpha males of most couples fear single men.

You appear to be making a *lot* of assumptions in there OP (and I say "appear" as I've read it twice and still not 100% sure what you're saying) but if I've understood correctly you're basically saying that the only men that get a look in here are the gym fit types who are selfish lovers?
If I'm correct then you couldn't be further from the truth - men of all shapes and sizes who have found the approach and attitude to the site that works for them, and have their expectations set correctly, are more than happy with their experience.
And how do you come to the conclusion that anyone is a selfish lover based on their profile text and pics etc? Let alone that they're the only ones getting a look in, if they're getting one at all?
I've also found you get a better experience from the site if you focus on your own use of it rather than worrying about how others choose to do so. |

That's a huge and wholly inaccurate generalisation - in the four years I've been here I've barely seen any profiles that look for young Adonis' - that's a myth perpetuated by guys who struggle with finding the right approach and attitude to the site, and use it as an excuse for their struggles rather than looking closer to home for answers.
As for lowering standards that's an insult to both other men, and the women they meet - I'd rather be celibate than consider meeting someone I wasn't attracted to just for the sake of sex. |

Are you basing your opinion on the hot pictures? Then that's probably where you are getting a bit of an unrealistic opinion on what women on here want. There's room for very type of body on here and it's more than just who can get the most fabs |

I think the problem is, and I mean this with the greatest of respect, the first sentence aside, your OP is a bit of a ramble and doesn't make a great deal of sense but I think the first sentence pretty much sums up what you're trying to say and is why you've received the responses you have.
If, as you later say, you're only referring to "some" profiles you've seen then your initial sentence kind of becomes redundant and irrelevant.
One of the joys of Fab is the wide and diverse tastes of the users which does mean it's possible to find what you're looking for if you find the right way to use the site for you. |

Perhaps you need to rethink how you put thoughts into words as I've read your post a few times and it still comes across as one where you're making huge assumptions about other men based on how they look. Also that women will put up with rubbish sex just for the 'honour' of being with a guy who has a fit body. If I'm wrong, apologies but it's how it reads to me.
Personally, yes I like someone who's looked after himself but that doesn't make him a selfish person. I think this sort of post does little for you're opportunity to meet as may put people off you.

Different preferences mean that many types of people will be right for others. Few are happy with their body, so loads invest to feel better. It can be a focus outside when they could look inside. Few like a personality that's wrong, if the body is good. Be happy with yourself and take the steps right for you, keeping your focus on people who want to know someone like you. Ignore the rest |

I had the expression 'Dad bod' as if there was nothing you could do about it! If you're 40 male and fat, you're just fat because you don't get enough exercise as you can now afford to be physically lazy. A guy with an average 'dad bod' could go to looking really good in less than a month if they chose to. |

I think the joy of this site is everyone's tastes are catered for. Not all women like the gym fit look. An awful lot like a dad bod and that's all fine. Each to their own. I like to look after myself and keep fit but that's for me not anyone else. We all have different skills I suppose and I like to think I'm a very good lover. That has nothing to do with the shape I'm in. We all have our flaws and insecurities. |

I take what you mean op as this:
1. Some women are missing out on the fun they might have with a man who pays less attention to their own body.
2. Some men who pay a lot of attention to their own body may not be able to satisfy a women as well as a man who is less concerned with his own physical appearance.
Is that a fair summary?

Basically you’re saying women should give you a chance cause you’ll appreciate it more and work harder between the sheets more than an Adonis would, cause he’s too self absorbed and would only be thinking of himself. Apart the age preference on profiles I have often seen and wondered what pleasure some ladies are getting. Videos of so called hunks saying "I will stick to you" or "take all of me etc" whilst posing so they are the main attraction makes me cringe. I am hoping the ladies are getting as much as the men as surely both people or groups of people would all be looking to be satisfied simultaneously. Is it just me thinking out side the box or do a lot of people on here like to be used and left unsatisfied for the benefit of someone else's profile? Just a thought. I know taboo and fetishes come into play here but I do get the impression that many are left unsatisfied but still choose to glorify others by posting or letting others post the content.
