"If I could be where you are" - ENYA.
It was on an album of hers, released the same week my father passed away. The lyrics are so poignant and match the mood I was in at that time.
It's beautifully put together but rips me apart any time I hear it in both good and sad ways! |

"Songs that put the hair on your neck standing or goosebumps. Just been listening to a few different versions of Zombie from the Cranberries. Dolores was amazing. "
You might enjoy the Zombie cover by Bad Wolves then
The Sound of Silence by Disturbed does it for me sometimes but nornally it's just when a song vibes with my mood really well. Most recently that was an English version of the Neon Genesis Evangelion opening "Cruel Angel's Thesis" |

Oh what a great thread..
It happens alot, especially when I listen to something that I haven't in years. The goosebumps, the memories.
Last time it happened was listening to Marillion and the track 'Brave'. That ending. Wow.

"45 - shinedown
Snuff - slipknot
Hallelujah - Jeff Buckley
Nicest thing - Kate Nash
Lost Boy - Ruth B
All I ask of you - phantom
Forever young - Meatloaf "
45 is an excellent song... but personally I think Second Chance is better... |

The first guitar solo in Susie Q by CCR
The guitar solo in Led Zeppelin’s Thank You (BBC Sessions)
Pink Floyd - Wish you were here
There are more but those are the ones that get me the most |
