Dear friends Fabbers and Forumites.
Oh golly what a day , ive been feverishly budy in work . Phewsters!
Now i am home , ive had a cup of tea ans a moist , devilishly delicious lemon bun . Life is splendid .
I had the most wonderful wander yesterday evening , just as the sun was setting. I took simply heaps of pictures and my heavens one in particular is just , if i say so myself, stunning . Im sat here agog with happiness.

You and the card I received through the post from my boss with words of appreciation and love, I did cry when I read it and have felt a little weepy since

I'm happy to be at home with D and the Kids. We're all safe and under one roof. That is more than enough to smile about..

I saw a post somewhere on social media where an elderly lady complained about Strictly now sjowing a same sex couple. She said it was not long er family show and she would not be watching or voting. So far, so good.
The another poster added to the above comment that she did not think that "the dance costumes featured strap-ons" so there was no reason to be scared or concerned. It had me in stitches! |

My telephone ringing made me smile because it means my Dad is calling and I always love chatting to him
Also because it’s a retro dial phone from the early 50’s and I love the little ringing sounds the bells make when someone calls. |

I have been able to see my mate today who suffers from depression. It was nice just have 1 hour of his time and we both had a laugh. My mate text later and said thank you. It just the little things that can brighten somebody else's day.  |

It's our wedding anniversary so I baked an espresso bourbon mocha cake, OH made beef and ale pie, currently chilling out with a full belly, having had a perfect relaxed day together. Haven't stopped smiling  |

Talking my lovely Fab lady friend I hold in high regard and love dearly and seeing how happy she is because of a new guy made me super happy
She's had such a rough time of it lately she totally deserves him
Not going to name her but she will know when she sees this

Got an ugly unexpected bill on Saturday.
Popped out today to collect something that I was expecting to earn me £100.
Arrive at the house, lovely guy gets chatting about bikes & our pasts are similar & I end up coming away an hour later with more like £400 of potential earnings.
That’s that bill sorted then

Seeing all the local restaurants and cafes on the local FB page offering free lunches to any local children and families who need it during half term. I went down to one of them to donate some money and they turned it down as they had had more than enough money donated from people to cover it all. How lovely that the businesses who are obviously struggling themselves are doing this . Made my heart smile. X |

My daughters epic pumpkin carving skills. She carved the exact likeness of an anime character and is pleased as punch.
I just need her to carve one that she will actually let me display in the window!

I did the same because I noticed a local shop was doing lunch packages for families needed them so I offered to sponsor a couple again was turned down. So I just bought some stuff in the shop and then donated it to the food bank. It really is lovely but people are coming together. |

It really is. People have been wonderful around here, I see so many offers of help all the time. I think it has definitely pulled communities together. x |

For the first time ever I've decorated the house for Halloween. With everything going on thought I'd give the kids something fun to focus on. Have a massive spider web that goes from my bedroom window to the front garden, has spiders the lot dangling from it. The kids love it, but a random kid on a scooter ground to a halt outside the house and was so in awe and happy and his parents said thank you. So cute, and nice to bring a smile to someone else's day |

Many things today, MadHatter being his usual self always makes me smile. A visit to the hairdressers has put a big smile on my face, not only is she amazingly talented but such a lovely person. Oh and I was dancing at the studio this evening. So plenty of smiles all round |
