... sauce, how do you make yours?
Mine is made with double cream plus whatever needs to go into it.
Reduced risk of burning the roux and lumpy bits of flour in the finished sauce!
Can't think what prompted me to think of making a cream sauce though, possibly something to do with planning the menu for this evening for Mr. Hot Date! |

I do a low fat one....
Milk (warmed)and some cornflour (slated in a little water)cook till thickened,
add seasoning and low fat cheese or wotever and voila....
a tasty sauce. |

I'll put my hands up to usually using them out of a jar............. or packet!! Easy and 100% guarentee not to go wrong (however, I do concede it won't taste as nice as yours Jo or Peaches!)
