Hmmmmmm the 80's
Started off total black outfits, bleached white hair,(TY Gary Numan), then the pirate outfit stage ( inc zinc white stripe over the nose) Adam Ant, then maybe the cotton jacket,silk lined, sleeves rolled up, white linen trousers,sunglasses on at night, blonde hair ( Miami vice) then kinda rebellious, green hair, blue mohawk etc 
ps ohhhhhh yeah, im saying nothing about the blonde streaked 5 days stubble George Michael period |

The best part of the 80's was between Jan 1st 1980 and the last day of Dec 1989. Before and after that, it was crap.  
Maybe the 80's should be allowed to gracefully retire and be consigned to the benign offerings of Top of the Pops 2 on a Sunday morning.
Now onto the 70's - Sex Pistols, Clash, Jam and all the associated mullarky - bring it on  |
