La la land

I missed the last one, we were meant to have one this year. My closet friends I've known since either primary school or secondary school. Their main comments about me is that I've not changed at all except that I'm more confident in who I am now

Not been to one. I'm not sure if I would.

I've changed a lot

No and I wouldn't be interested in going to a reunion.

Have I changed? No I'm still the same weirdo I was back then - just older and with more weight and confidence.

I went to one and quite enjoyed seeing everyone. Been on a few weekends away since with four of my old school friends as we stayed in touch since that night.

I went to one when we where all 50. We had a picnic in the park. It was great and we where all more or less same personalities as we where at school. Everyone recognized me so although i think ive changed i cant have changed that much

I was shy at school and not the brainiest so it was good to show everyone that i actually turned out ok despite leaving at 16

I was the effeminate one that even the nerds could pick on.

Everyone hated me, including me.

Needless to say, I didn’t go to mine.

Sometimes I think the only reason I would go is to prove I wasn't the stereotypical teenage mum. Really though that's my own self worth issues and so it wouldn't make me feel better xx

I couldn't wait to get the fuck away from there and all of those people.

I'm still in touch with one person who I grew up with my bestie

I wouldn't go. The types who go just want to show off so the decent people I'd want to see wouldn't be there.

I've avoided every invitation to school reunions.

The University ones are much more fun; who has died, who has been struck off, who is spending time in the Big House.

I haven't been too any reunions but earlier in the summer I bumped into someone I was at primary school with. Haven't seen them since 1979,I recognised them immediately , they hadn't changed at all, I was just about to call out to them when they saw me and called my name , so I guess I must be pretty similar to how I was.

We had a good long chat and catch up.

I did not find this at all. It was very relaxed, we had a laugh and everyone was really decent to talk to.

Nope not been. I wasnt one of the cool kids.

I think I've changed for the better to be honest. Or I hope. I was a scrawny plain, shy lad.

"Apparently at my last one they ended up with a stripper in the school hall "

When I was at school at 13 the headmaster was leaving and in the final assembly before finishing for the summer a woman walked in dressed in a 'sexy schoolgirl' outfit, walked upto the headmaster and after a few minutes stripped to her underwear. The sixth formers had arranged it all.

Nope. I was teased mercilessly throughout school and only had a small group of friends, I'm still in touch with them, and couldn't give a flying fig about any of the others.

Did she get arrested and find herself in the sex offenders register?

I'd never go back to a reunion. Terrible idea. All the people you disliked, and were forced to spend your time with...repeated.

And yes.

Yes 2 first 1998 and my first thought was what's all these old people doing here! Mad I know! Saw one of my first bf there! Said something completely stupid in my nervous ness to him! Asked my sister if she could see her school bully while we stood there she didnt answer I kept asking her ! She said when the woman next to her moved away ffs it was her that's why I kept quite lmao! Second one was a smaller affair! First was in the school the headmaster a d few teachers were there and got a tour of the school x
