It is 2 months to christmas.

That'll be a no.
Unless of course I get the day off work and get to cook my own dinner.
As far as the whole Christmas thing goes, I don't really participate. I've simply got used to being skint and although you don't give to receive, it certainly bodes that if you don't give.... you don't receive.
I generally get one gift, and that's secret santa at work. But I'm a terrible giver. I'm normally so fucking busy that I just can't be arsed to search for something I can afford that I genuinely believe the receiver will like.
I won't just buy something for the sake of it, I have to be proud enough of the gift to say "yaaaay, I bought them that"

It will be a very strange one this year, usually 14 of us round the table. Would of been bigger celebrations than usual as it is my sister's 50th.
Will make the most of it regardless but definitely won't be the same but at least there will be a lot less tidying up on Boxing day
And already finished present shopping |

We’re waiting a new dining table that sits 10. Feck knows when we’ll get to use it to capacity!! We have T’s parents 50th wedding anniversary on Boxing Day too & was hoping to do something special for them

I'm not a fan of Christmas ever. I obviously make an effort for my boys but in reality it's just another day for me. However it's one that reminds me of what I don't have even more than all the others.
The main thing is that my boys have a lovely day and I'm able to do nice things for them. |
